Day 47 - February 26, 2009

Another day of work....early.. I had to be there by 7:15 which means I had to leave here by 6:20. Oh well. I started out the day by rolling pirate scrolls. I had to take pieces of paper, roll them up, and then tied it with a piece of string.......I am much to intelligent to roll pirate scrolls. Thankfully I was transferred to the Pirates of the Carribbean attraction where I hung clothes like yesterday. I got off at around 1:10 and I then had to go to the doctors. I found out that I probably tore a ligament in my ankle and I have to go in for an MRI tomorrow evening. I am not looking forward to that. After the doctors I changed in the car again and met Courtney and Roxy at Hollywood Studios. They brought my crutches for me since I hadnt taken them to work. We went on Star Tours which I hadnt done before. Its a simulator thing that is entertaining. Next we went to the Tower of Terror where Courtney works and we got to skip the lines twice. It was alot of fun. Then we went to Rock'n'rollercoaster woohoo. That was all we did before we left. My ankle was hurting so we left and came home. I then took a 3 hour nap on accident. Oh well.

Day 46 - February 25, 2009

I had to work today. I actually worked at the Emporium as a light duty person. Basically I hung clothes all day. Nothing too exciting, nothing too boring. I accidently told them I was off at 3:45 and was actually off at 4....so I hid in the bathroom for 15 minutes. Oh well no big deal :). After I got off work I went to my car, changed, went back to the tunnel, and then met up with Roxy, Maggie, and Brittany. We rode Space Mountain, watched Philharmagic, then met up with our friend Kevin. After that we went back to Space Mountain to get fast passes for later and then rode Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, then back to Space Mountain. Roxy tormented Maggie who is scared of birds by running up to her and making seagull noises while Brittany taped it on her phone haha it was funny. After all that was done the girls went to Olive Garden to eat dinner and it was yummy! I got the shrimp mezzaluna thing that is always on the commercials but its not as good as the Shrimp Caprese. Oh well you live and learn. We then went home and I of course went to bed early....I'm always first to go to bed but if I dont sleep like a normal person I get exhausted.

Day 45 - February 24, 2009

Ok so everything that I just said happened yesterday, actually happened after my class TODAY. I did nothing yesterday. Another day off woohoo. This time I had class in the morning at 8. It was entertaining and I had a few things to catch up on since I was sick last week and couldnt go to class. And now refer to February 23......

Day 44 - February 23, 2009

I had today off today which was nice to sleep in. After lunch I went to Hollywood Studios with Maggie (roommate from Kansas), Brittany (other roommate from Kansas), Nate (Maggie's older brother), and Brittney (this weird girl who didnt stay very long). We did a few things that afternoon. We went to Rock'n'rollercoaster, the Tower of Terror, watched Beauty and the Beast (which I'm not a huge fan of), rode the Great Movie Ride and I think thats about it. We took our time and then left and went to Magic Kingdom (sans weirdo Brittney). While there we ate at the hotdog stand Casey's and I learned that I am not a huge fan of hotdogs....oh well. We rode Space Mountain, watched Philharmagic, did the Carousel of Progress, went on the most horrible attraction at Disney World (Stich's Great Escape). It was pointless and gross. After that we got some hot chocolate and found a seat and waited almost an hour for the fireworks haha. That was the first time I had watched them from start to finish. Pretty cool. Afterwards we went home and I went to sleep early.

Day 43 - February 22, 2009

I had to be at the Modified Work office at 9 so I had to leave the house before 8, pick up a modified work costume at costuming (really ugly blue pants and a khaki shirt), and catch the bus to Magic Kingdom then wobble all the way down the tunnel with my crutches. I had to fill out some paper work and then I had to go start my work day at Downtown Disney doing Pin replenishment. Basically I sat in a room all day by myself until some cast member came in to switch out pins. I probably saw 6 people all day. It was so boring. I got off at 5:30 then came home, rested for a while, and then went to Abby's apartment to eat fajitas. Then we came home and I took some nyquil because I am still sick (uuugggghhhh) and slept. So between sickness and sprained ankles, thats why I havent been posting.

Day 42 - February 21, 2009

I had work at 1:15 today so I left at about noon. I was early but oh well. I go to the break room and ate my chef boyardee and then proceeded to go to work. I went upstairs and clocked in, got a cup of water, and decided to go replenish my pins and get some new ones. I was walking down the stairs and then BAM! I fell and thought I broke my ankle. I yelled for help and these people came and called for the paramedics. The paramedics and 1 of my managers came they wrapped my ankle in gauze and an ice pack and then I went to health services for xrays. It was the worst day ever. Anyways its not broken, just sprained, but I do have crutches. Oh yeah and I'm still a little sick. Florida is fabulous.....

Day 41 - February 20, 2009

Nothing exciting at work today. Just registers while still sick. The excitement begins tomorrow.
