Day 19 - January 29, 2009

I slept until 10:30 and it was wonderful. Then we got ready and went to Magic Kingdom to pick up my paycheck and then to Animal Kingdom to play. It was me and Roxy. We went on the rollercoaster Expedition Everest and it was alot of fun. We also saw the show its tough to be a bug and it was really funny. Then we ate lunch somewhere in Asia. It was very good fast food. Then we went on the Safari and saw a TON of animals! It was so exciting! There was an awake lion! Thats rare since lions sleep 20 hours of the day. We saw 3 cheetas and several giraffes (including a cute baby one). We also saw some hippos and a family of elephants :). After the safari, it started to rain.....hard....but we walked all the way across the park to ride this stupid Dinosaur ride. We were drenched by the time we left.

Day 18 - January 28, 2009

I didnt have work until 4:45 today so I went to Magic Kingdom with Maggie and Courtney, 2 of my roommates. I got to go on Splash Mountain for the first time! It was fun. We also went on Big Thunder Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, went to the Tiki Room, rode Pirates of the Carribbean, Space Mountain, went to the Laugh Factory, then they left me :(. I still had like an hour and a half to kill. So I watched the new parade. I had fun. Before the roommates left me Courtney and I got turkey legs......the ones disney is famous for......it was huge, tasted good, but it grossed me out....I threw most of it away. Oh well. Later I got a mickey mouse ice cream bar! yum! After they left I just walked around a bit by myself then went to work. I brought my clothes with me but I forgot my tie! I was freaking out b/c i didnt have time to go to costuming and get back on time. Luckily you can check them out in the office of the Emporium (phew). So all was good. I did my regular (give out stickers and check people out). Then I got of at 10:30, came home and went to bed.

Day 16 - January 27, 2009

I only worked from 2-8:15 today. It was great. I got home about 9. Then we (all my roommates) went to eat at the house of blues. Nothing exciting happened, just food. Sorry this day was boring.

Day 15 - January 26, 2009

Today was a fairly long day. I didnt start work until 3:45 and I got off at 11:30. It didnt go by achingly slow, mainly because I handed out a bazillion stickers. It was really weird though. I was asking people all day long where they were from, like I normally do, and they were all either from Canada or Michigan. It was odd. Ok I did meet 1 family from Ohio, but thats practically Michigan. It was some weird Canada/Michigan phenomenon. Well thats about all I have to say about that. I went straight to sleep since I got back after midnight.

Day 14 - January 25, 2009

6 hour shifts FLY BY! I got to work on the register and hand out stickers to little kids. I LOVE HANDING OUT STICKERS! It is alot of fun. Most kids get so excited by a little sticker with Mickey Mouse on it. It is my favorite past time at work these days. Also, I am a baby magnet. I dont know why, but its like babies are drawn to me. Which is fine by me, I like babies. There was this super cute little Hawaiian baby boy with curly hair that was just at walking age. I bent down to give him a sticker and he started walking to me. Then I put the sticker on his jacket and he took it off and put it on my shirt. So I gave him another sticker and he did the same thing...2 more times. He was precious. Then he gave me a hug. It made the day just a little brighter. After work, Roxy and I went to this Irish Pub for dinner at Downtown Disney. It was pretty good. I got Shepards Pie yum. Then we went home and went to bed :)

Day 13 - January 24, 2009

A DAY OFF TO PLAY IN THE PARKS!!! So we woke up relatively early this morning and went to Hollywood Studios. They are doing a soft opening for this show called the American Idol Experience where guests can go audition for American Idol in the morning then compete all day, weeding people out until 1 person wins the entire thing. The prize is a dream pass which means they can go to the front of the line at any american idol audition anywhere. Anyways...cast members may participate now, but they cannot participate after tomorrow. So Roxy wanted to try it out. She made it thru 2 rounds then got eliminated. It was really cool. She got this really cool fake trophy thingy that looks like a microphone. Anyways, that took up the morning then we went and saw Indiana Jones stunt show AND GOT TO BE EXTRAS!!! We stood up and waved our arms like crazy people until we got picked. It was alot of fun! Then we went and saw the Little Mermaid Show. It was pretty good but the Ariel wasnt all that great. After that we went and saw the Lights, Motors, Action car stunt show. It was also really cool. After all that we went on Rock'n'rollercoaster. That ride is so much fun. We then got on a bus and went to Epcot for dinner. So who knew that Alfredo's in Italy closed? Not me.....its this other Italian place that is pretty good, just as expensive, with half the amount of food. So while my pumpkin ravioli (weird i know) was quite tasty, i got 4 of them....yes only 4. So needless to say I spent $30 for 8 or 9 bites, a happy plate, and a not full stomach. Now we are home, and I'm going to bed early. I only have a 6 hour shift tomorrow!!!! Yahoo!!!

Day 12 - January 23, 2009

I didnt really do anything at all today except work. Work 8 hours. Work from 2:45 to 11:15 :(. Thats ok I get paid on Thursday. I did stock again today. I loathe stock. The hours do not go quickly when your section is fully stocked to begin with. There is in turn nothing to do. The hats that needed to be stocked, we were out of. Very frustrating. I basically walked around for 8 hours putting ink tags on any hat that didnt have one. Then I went home, Roxy waxed my eyebrows. It did not hurt at all and she did a very good job haha. Then I read some of my book (the new Sophie Kinsella novel Remember Me? It is very funny and i'm enjoying it. Then I went to sleep so I could wake up early and go play at Hollywood Studios (MGM).
